Jamie Moyer becomes the oldest pitcher to toss a shutout

Nineteen new names have been added to the Hall of Fame ballot this year. To celebrate, we took a closer look at some of the most memorable moments from the careers of our favorite newcomers.
Here is a list of stunning Jamie Moyer facts:
- He threw more than 4,000 innings stretched across 25 big league seasons.
- He has the most homers allowed in Major League history with 522.
- In 1986, he faced Graig Nettles (born 1944). In 2012, he faced Giancarlo Stanton (born 1989).
Moyer was something else.

Since he pitched for so long, it's difficult to pick out just one moment from his career. That being said, his complete-game shutout against the Braves in 2010 (the one that made him the oldest pitcher ever to throw a shutout) is about as Moyer as a Moyer outing can get.
Check out the video at the top of the page to see us break down Moyer's inexplicable yet dominant performance.
