Jose Fernandez could only laugh after trying to hit against Kenta Maeda

In his first month in MLB, Dodgers sensation Kenta Maeda's pretty much done nothing but baffle opposing hitters. He entered Thursday night's matchup against the Marlins at 3-0, sporting a 0.66 ERA with 25 K's in 27 1/3 innings pitched. And if position players haven't been able to figure him out, it just seems cruel to let Maeda face Jose Fernandez -- a man who, despite being both an awesome pitcher and hair styler, has slashed just .211/.217/.322 so far in his career.
But, to his eternal credit, Fernandez made contact! He grounded out to shortstop, and then made it clear he had no interest in doing that ever again:

It's okay, Jose. Not every pitcher can drop dingers like ... Kenta Maeda
