Blue Jays fans, Marcus Stroman and others were awestruck by Kevin Pillar's wall-smashing catch

Well, he did it again. In the Blue Jays' 2-0 loss to the Orioles at Rogers Centre on Thursday night, Toronto center fielder Kevin Pillardid the sort of thing that we've all come to expect from him.
Yes, that's right, he made an all-out running catch to rob Rubén Tejada of an extra-base hit in the right-center-field gap. And what's more, Pillar crashed into the out of town scoreboard in pursuit of the ball -- only because he couldn't run through it, probably:

A catch like that only happens with an inspired effort, and an effort that inspired must have left folks pretty impressed, right? Enter Marcus Stroman, eagerly applauding his center fielder's efforts atop the Blue Jays' dugout steps:

And this Blue Jays fan, who just couldn't believe her eyes:

These fans in the seats above the center-field wall had come prepared with a sign professing their love for Pillar, and they were definitely treated to a show:

Meanwhile, lefty J.A. Happ, again the beneficiary of Pillar's glovework in the outfield, stood on the mound as if to say, "Oh, he really does have my back. All the time."

Just another day at the office for Superman.
