Nationals superstar Max Scherzer has MLB's most expressive face

ATLANTA, GA - JUNE 02: Pitcher and pinch hitter Max Scherzer #31 of the Washington Nationals is congratulated in the dugout after scoring in the 14th inning during the game against the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park on June 2, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. Welcome to In Short Order, a weekly look at all the baseball that I like and can't stop obsessing over. We'll mostly live at the edges of the game; at the intersection of the weird, the fun and the esoteric. Oh yeah, and hair.
Max Scherzer is an expressive man. He yells on the mound. He grunts. He spends his offseason ensconced in Mizzou footie pajamas.
So, to celebrate his expressiveness and his baseball excellence, why not play Scherzer bingo? Every time you see him make one of these faces mid-game, cross it off. Get three in a row, and buddy, that's a bingo.
