One poor Mets fan could only watch as an Odubel Herrera foul ball obliterated his beer

Ah, the bucolic pleasures of a baseball game seen from the front row. There's nothing quite so serene -- from the green of the grass to the sounds of the game, just sit back, relax and LOOK OUT FOR THE FOUL BALL HEADED RIGHT FOR YOUR BEER:

Chris, a diehard Mets fan from Long Island, was just minding his own business during New York's 4-2 loss to the Phillies on Saturday night. He turned to have a conversation with his fiancee sitting next to him -- when, all of a sudden, disaster struck.

The culprit: a line drive off the bat of Odúbel Herrera. The victim: Chris' beer bottle, along with the poor guy sitting next to him. Luckily, the fans dried off and enjoyed the rest of their evening. The bottle, however, was not so lucky:
