An Indians fan battling cancer wanted a Mike Napoli homer, and Napoli delivered

Indians first baseman Mike Napoli was just minding his own business prior to Monday's 9-2 loss to the Rangers, doing some running and stretches in the outfield, when all of a sudden he noticed something -- something that just happened to have his name on it. He decided to investigate further, and as he got closer he realized what it was: An Indians fan, Kathi Heintzelman, had brought a very special sign to Progressive Field.

Napoli said hello, and made sure she got that hug. As for the home run ... I mean, it would be a great story and all, but it's not like even a slugger like Napoli can just go yard whenever he wants. That seems like a long sho--

Nevermind, we clearly underestimated the will of the Baseball Gods and/or the power of hugs.
