The Vermont Lake Monsters' bullpen refused to sit on a bench where a skunk was spotted
When the Vermont Lake Monsters defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats in a 6-1 win on Wednesday in Troy, N.Y., it ended up being a bit of stinky situation for the Vermont bullpen. No, this didn't have anything to do with pitching performances, this had to do with a skunk that decided to make its way among the pitchers.
Young fans watched on as the pitchers in the bullpen took their seats on top of the concrete wall while the little creature allegedly ran under the bench:
Apparently, there’s a skunk in the Vermont bullpen under that bench, which explains why the pitchers aren’t sitting on it: pic.twitter.com/6zHSMxduBA

We don't blame them. But we did notice a bullpen catcher laying way too comfortably on the ground at the same level of the skunk. That's pretty brave, or crazy -- we aren't sure yet.
