Check out all the awesome custom gear big leaguers are sporting for Players Weekend

From the moment we saw the nicknames, we've been counting down the days. And now, it's finally here: Friday night marks the beginning of Players Weekend, a three-day extravaganza in which just about the only limit to what a player can wear is their own imagination. Custom bats, custom cleats, custom gloves and, of course, custom uniforms -- this weekend will have it all, and you can find all the highlights below.
Adam Duvall got himself a fresh new bat for the final game of Players Weekend:

CC Sabathia's cleats say he's ready for Sunday's Game of Thrones season finale.

Like this fun thing that happened: Ryan Sherriff against Kevin "Outlaw" Kiermaier:

Manny Machado took his cleats up to 11:

And Kolten Wong's cleats were downright tropical:

And who might this belong to?

And Edwin Díaz's fantastic cleats:

Along with a special message to his parents:

Trea Turner went with a more Looney Tunes theme:

Nelson Cruz, meanwhile, showed off his array of bats -- er, boomsticks:

Speaking of bats, Anthony Rizzo's bleed Cubbie blue:

You just knew Yoenis Céspedes would not disappoint:

Yankees rookie Clint Frazier's cleats incorporate everything from "Lion King" to "South Park":

After his start on Saturday against the Mariners, Sonny "Pickles" Gray made a very appropriate trip to the supermarket:

Kris Bryant's cleats celebrate a great cause:

And Todd Frazier's honor his hometown of Toms River, N.J. -- and the entire Garden State:

David Price wants everyone to know that he loves both his adorable dog Astro and wearing gold:

Marlins reliever Brad Ziegler opted for the nickname "Unicorn," and as you can see, he's very committed to his new identity:

Cody Bellinger and Alex Wood honored their home states of Arizona and North Carolina, respectively (hey, National League pitchers need bats too):

While Eric Hosmer paid tribute to his home city and his dad:

Albert Suárez also paid a touching tribute to his father with his nickname:

Some players forgot to send in their nicknames, which happens to the best of us. Mitch Haniger was one of those guys ... The colors still look amazing though.

Even the batting gloves have embraced the colorful theme:

Sean Newcomb honored some Braves legends with his personalized cleats.
