Monica Puig is an Olympic tennis player and the first Puerto Rican athlete in history to bring home a gold medal. She's also a Marlins fan, and before Sunday's game against the Dodgers, she got to throw out the first pitch:
There may have been some conflict of interest for Puig, however, because Miami was playing Los Angeles, and that's her biggest fan's team:
Even though the Marlins defeated the Dodgers, 3-0, we hope the Puigs got together to practice bat/racket flips after the game. #VivaPuig, indeed.
