Noah Syndergaard and Robert Gsellman cheered on Manchester City in personalized jerseys

(Chesterton, Eric)

It had already been a busy week for Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard. On Wednesday, he posted photos of himself getting his hair cut for a guest appearance on History Channel's "Vikings." That sort of excitement and change would be enough for most of us to call it a week.
But, not Thor. On Sunday, he and fellow Mets pitcher Robert Gsellman traveled to Anfield to cheer on Manchester City as they faced Liverpool in a big matchup. They even brought custom jerseys for the occasion:

Syndergaard and Gsellman didn't get to see their team win, but they did get to witness a defensive battle that ended in a 0-0 draw, leaving the two teams tied atop the Premier League table. As pitchers, they probably appreciated the beauty of a clean sheet.
