The Orioles gave David Ortiz the dugout phone he smashed as a going-away present

Do you remember when David Ortiz got angry about a strikeout and annihilated a dugout phone at Camden Yards in 2013? Here's a little refresher:

Well, for some reason (we actually know why now), the Orioles held onto that broken phone. And when Ortiz was playing his final regular-season series in Baltimore on Thursday night, the O's gave it back to him as a farewell present.

Here it is being given to Big Papi pregame. It must've been terrified to see his face again.

According to MLB.com's Ian Browne, the Jumbotron also showed video of the moment and clips of Ortiz hitting homers against the Yankees. A fine sendoff, indeed.
