Ozzie Albies hit a baseball so hard he tattooed his name on it

From time to time, you'll hear announcers say something along the lines of: "He tattooed that ball." That phrase, like smashing a baseball or destroying a baseball or tearing a cover off a baseball, is usually metaphorical. The player isn't actually taking the baseball to the tattoo parlor, whipping out a tattoo gun and sketching out some ink on that bad boy.

That is unless you're Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies.

Albies, who like many players has his own name imprinted on his bat, hit a ball so hard on Wednesday that you can literally see his name on the ball. Pretty cool party trick, but maybe he can get his last name on there too next time.
