Padres shift so there's nobody in center field, Matt Duffy hits double straight to center field

Shifts are a hot topic in baseball. Generally, they seem to work on hitters who tend to pull or hit balls in a certain direction. Other times, they don't.
During the Giants' 8-2 win over the Padres on Tuesday, San Diego installed an outfield shift against Matt Duffy that left a gap in center field. So, where did Duffy hit Keith Hessler's offering? Straight-away center field:

Many of Duffy's batted balls have traveled the opposite way this season, but it seems when faced with an extreme shift, the third baseman will adjust. That probably makes Duffman quite pleased.
