Tim Hudson is now best friends with an adorable baby goat named Douglas

Baseball wasn't particularly kind to goats in 2015 -- Stephen Colbert ejected one, Kobayashi and his friends ate one, while the Hartford Yard Goats made some truly questionable goat wardrobe choices.

But, should you be tempted to sell your Goats in Baseball stock this year, allow us to introduce you to Douglas -- baby goat, newest addition to the Tim Hudson household, and quite possibly the most adorable animal on the face of the earth:

Thankfully, things are looking up for baseball goats in 2016. Just try to steer clear of any centuries-long curses for good measure.
