How does one aptly summarize the Mariners' historic, 10-run comeback over the Padres on Thursday night? Is it enough to simply explain that Seattle trailed, 12-2, after the fifth inning, only to win, 16-13? Should one enumerate each of the Mariners' 16 hits? What about a play-by-play of their nine-run seventh inning?
