The Portland Sea Dogs will become the Maine Whoopie Pies for one game this year
A sea dog might be cute, but it's not sweet and delicious. So, on June 21, at the start of the Maine Whoopie Pie festival, the Red Sox's Double-A affiliate will transform from the Portland Sea Dogs into the Maine Whoopie Pies.

In honor of the delicious chocolate-and-frosting dessert, the team will also don brown and white uniforms and host a variety of whoopie pie-related events before the game -- including a whoopie pie eating contest. Which, man, that's a lot of frosting. Hope you brought a glass of water. Maybe that's why the whoopie pie logo is so angry -- he's having trouble breathing.
