An adorable rabbit found its way onto the field at PNC Park and made the most of it
A couple of fun facts about rabbits: When happy, they've been known to "binky," which is one of the most aggressively cute things on the planet ...
... and just like the rest of us, they dream to one day play big league baseball. But they know that it takes a lot of time and effort to make it to The Show, so they decided to work their way up: Just last month, a Triple-A game was briefly interrupted by an adorable rabbit who exhibited some plus range in the outfield.
It was a long, winding and carrot-filled road. And during the Pirates' 3-2 win over the Brewers on Tuesday night, it all paid off: One lucky bunny got to make his big league debut.
Not knowing when he'd make it back, the rookie was determined to make the most of the experience. He leapt, he bounded, he ran -- and then he made his swift exit through a hole in the outfield wall:
