53-year-old Rafael Palmeiro hit a homer for the Cleburne Railroaders, his son's Indy League team

Rafael Palmeiro hasn't appeared in a Major League game since 2005 with the Orioles. He was 40 then. Three years ago, at age 50, he joined the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League to play alongside his eldest son, Patrick.
Patrick now suits up for the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. And so does his dad, who's now 53 years old:

On Monday night, the former MLB first baseman/designated hitter hit a homer deep into a pretty sunset in the Railroaders' game with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
No, seriously:

Raffy can still swing it.
