Rougned Odor tried to call time before a pitch ... but it did not work out so well

Calling time while you're a batter preparing to hit a pitch is fine. Sometimes you're nervous, sometimes you're not ready, sometimes there's a fireworks show happening right in front of you. But you need to remember: if you do call time, you need to make sure the umpire allowed that time.
In the top of the fourth inning of Thursday's Rangers-Orioles game, Rougned Odor tried to call time during Wade Miley's windup and began backing out of the box. Odor did not have time.

Tough to put a good swing on that one (unless he had a bigger bat). Odor ended up striking out and may never call time again.
