Salvador Perez called Lorenzo Cain during Royals FanFest and the two remain #friendshipgoals

Some of the strongest friendships form playing the game of baseball. One duo that remains #friendshipgoals is that of Salvador Perez and Lorenzo Cain. The recent signing that sent Cain to the Brewers left us wondering how Salvy would react to the news -- and while we aren't sure what was said when he first heard his BFF was heading to Milwaukee, we did get a chance to see how close the two still are during Royals FanFest.
On stage with a few members of the Royals on Saturday, the catcher made a phone call to Cain.
"Hey, people hear you Lo Lo," Perez said into his phone. The crowd cheered as he put it up to the mic so fans could hear him. Cain had a message of his own to send to the fans of Kansas City:

He called his seven years with the team a "fun ride," and he will miss the city.
It appears their friendship is still as strong as ever.
