Torey Lovullo ate a piece of 30-year-old gum, proving he has an iron stomach

Do you remember what you were doing 30 years ago? Some of us weren't even born yet. Now, imagine consuming anything that was created during that time frame. Yes, sticking it in your mouth and eating it.
Not only did D-backs manager Torey Lovullo take on this challenge, he did it without any hesitation.
During the Winter Meetings in Orlando, Fla. in December, Mike Oz of Yahoo! Sports was joined by the Arizona skipper to participate in his "Old Baseball Cards" series. The two opened a pack of Topps cards from 1987 which contained a piece of gum. And, well:

Without thinking twice, Lovullo asks to try the gum, rebelling against the expiration date. The crunching noise that occurred after consumption will make you cringe, but he said it tasted "like a piece of sugar."
Lovullo seems to have an iron stomach.
Don't try this at home, kids.
