Trea Turner treated his old high school's baseball team to a huge Spring Training home run
Before he was the star shortstop for the Nationals, Trea Turner was just another talented high school baseball player in the state of Florida -- a standout at Park Vista Community High School, to be exact. Park Vista is in Boynton Beach, not too far a drive from the Nationals Spring Training complex in West Palm Beach. On Wednesday, the current Park Vista baseball team paid a visit to see its star alumnus in action:
As cool as it was to meet with the 25-year-old shortstop before the game, you can only imagine the excitement for the Park Vista squad when Turner hit a long home run with them in attendance:

Turner has already given Park Vista a lot to be proud of, but he appears primed for a breakout season with the Nationals that could make them even more giddy that he once wore their same uniform.
