Watch Kyle Schwarber celebrate after learning that the Cubs are headed to the World Series

The 2016 season didn't start out the way Kyle Schwarber would've hoped. After spending the previous October sending baseballs into low orbit (and continuing that trend in Spring Training) the Cubs outfielder was expected to be a major contributor in his sophomore campaign ... only to tear his ACL in just the second game of the season.
But as we all know, it's not how you start, it's how you finish. And while this year certainly didn't get off to a great start for Schwarber, it's setting up for a pretty special finish -- not only is he healthy and back on the field in the Arizona Fall League, but his teammates in Chicago just punched their ticket to the franchise's first World Series in 71 years.
And while Schwarber wasn't able to help them get there, he was still pretty pumped when he heard the news:

And hey, who knows -- this story might just end with Schwarber in the lineup for the Fall Classic after all.
