This is one of the craziest foul to fair ground balls you will ever see

We've talked a lot about sorcery on this blog. Here's an example, and another and one more. But what happened between the El Paso Chihuahuas (a Padres Triple-A affiliate) and Las Vegas 51s (Mets) on Thursday is downright disturbing.
With two outs in the top of the seventh inning, 51s batter Eric Campbell nubbed a foul ball in the direction of the first-base dugout and then, well, just watch (warning: the following may be unsettling for some viewers):

Yes, as you can see, that ball was nearly in the first-base dugout and wound up cutting back across into fair territory for the easy out at first base.

Look at the ballboy thinking he was gonna get himself a ball! Not tonight, ballboy!

Does Chihuahuas first baseman Diego Goris have a giant baseball magnet in his glove? Did pitcher Eric Yardley throw a yo-yo to the plate instead of a baseball? Is there some giant chihuahua in the sky controlling ground balls with its mind?
We may never know, and honestly -- do we even want to?
