Only Vin Scully can make reading a grocery list seem exciting
Vin Scully has begun his 67th and final year behind the microphone for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and has earned the type of reverence that makes it seem as if he'd make anything a worthwhile talking point. After all, he has his own street now.
During the Dodgers' 3-1 win over the visiting Giants, Dan Shulman told a particularly amusing story involving Scully and something most of us don't even think twice about: our grocery list.
Leave it to Vin to elevate the mundane concept of a grocery list (name-dropping a dozen eggs, a quart of milk and other essentials in the process) to something that simply must be heard by everybody. Check it out in the main clip above.
