Clayton Kershaw was ready for his Game 5 start just minutes after the Dodgers' Game 4 win

Clayton Kershaw had a performance on the mound Saturday night, but he wasn't starting for the Dodgers. You see, following the team's 6-2 win over the Astros in Game 4 of the World Series, he decided to put on a show for the crowd … or what was left of it.
Following the Dodgers' celebratory high-fives and fist bumps, he ran on to the mound, stepped on the rubber in the set position and "checked the runners."

Was he about to pitch? Probably not, considering he didn't have a chance to eat the turkey sandwich he needs before a start.
"Just checking it out," Kershaw told MLB.com's Anthony Castrovince. "I do that every time when it's a place I haven't pitched in a while."
And it certainly has been a while. The last time he took the mound at Minute Maid Park was on Aug. 23, 2015when he struck out 10 across eight innings.
Either way, he seemed excited about the win, and it was a very entertaining moment for the rest of us. See you Sunday for the start, Kersh.
Tune in to Game 5 of the World Series presented by YouTube TV tonight at 8 ET on FOX.
