Watch Jon Gray hit the longest pitcher-homer since 2015 and hop out of the box like a kid

Entering Wednesday's game against the Reds, Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray had never hit a Major League home run. In five Minor League seasons? Zero. At the University of Oklahoma? Not even an at-bat.
But in his first plate appearance of the game against Scott Feldman, Gray absolutely bomboozled a ball 467 feet:

According to Statcast, it's the longest dinger at Coors Field this season and the longest by a pitcher at any ballpark since 2015 (Jeff Samardzija hit one 446 feet at Coors). Gray also punctuated his heroic blast with a nice little Sammy Sosa-esque home run hop:

Although it's not the longest at the very hitter-friendly Coors Field (have mercy, Mike Piazza), it's quite a feat for a pitcher who had zero professional home runs. Gray was also solid on the mound -- giving up just two runs over 5 2/3 innings in Colorado's 5-3 win.
