Whoops: Watch White Sox prospect Tim Anderson hit a baseball directly into his phone

White Sox MiLB shortstop and MLB's No. 47 overall prospect Tim Anderson was getting in some pre-Spring Training swings on Monday afternoon and, like a lot of Major Leaguers, he was filming his workout. He had his phone positioned on the other side of a net, slightly off to one side, and then …

Maybe this was an accident, and maybe Anderson should cross his fingers that "errant batting practice hit" is covered by his cell phone warranty. Or maybe Anderson hit the ball exactly where he wanted to hit it, because he's actually filming some last-minute footage for the new Cloverfield sorta-sequel and he needed one last shaky-camera shot of monster attack chaos.
If it's the latter, someone tell Anderson to say hi to J.J. Abrams for us.
