White Sox take an early lead in 'Best 2017 Promotions' with a Hawk Harrelson alarm clock
To some, he's Ken Harrelson, outfielder/first baseman who played for four clubs in a nine-year career that ended in 1971. To everybody else, he's referred to on a first-name basis as "Hawk," the White Sox Ford C. Frick Award-nominated broadcaster known for his unique style, emphatic delivery and that home run call ... that glorious, unforgettable home run call:
Well, the White Sox are making sure that everybody (or at least 20,000 fans at Guaranteed Rate Field on May 13) gets a chance to hear the voice of their famed announcer at home.

Gone will be the days of slapping the snooze button in favor of a few more Z's -- after all, with Hawk shouting at you, what else would you need? In fact, with so many smartphones utilizing the gradual "soft-loud" arpeggio alarm method these days, wouldn't this make for a perfect wake-up?
