Wrigley celebrated its first World Series win in 71 years with an epic rendition of 'Go Cubs Go'

In the early 1980s, Chicago radio station WGN was looking for a new theme song for the Cubs. Luckily, lifelong Cubs fan and songwriter Steve Goodman happened to be in town -- and the rest, as they say, is history. Thanks in large part to Chicago's run to the 1984 NLCS, "Go, Cubs, Go" became the official anthem of the North Siders, and it's been played after every Wrigley Field win since 2007.
Sunday night, however, was no regular win: The Cubs' 3-2 nailbiter over the Indians in World Series Game 5 was Wrigley's first taste of Fall Classic victory in 71 years, and the last game at the Friendly Confines in 2016. Naturally, an extraordinary win deserved an extraordinary postgame rendition:

Soak it in, Chicago. The Cubs have earned at least one more game -- Game 6 back in Cleveland on Tuesday night, air time at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX l 8 p.m. game time.
