A Yankees fan snagged a foul ball in his hat as though that's what hats are meant for

Hats were designed with a specific purpose in mind: to be worn on one's head and/or to hold a teammate's bubble gum. One thing they were not designed to do, however, is catch baseballs. Hat

One Yankees fan, however, reimagined the very possibilities of our wardrobes. During Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Rockies, he didn't just snag a one-hop Trevor Story line drive with his hat -- he did it as easily as if it were an extension of his hand.

Catch

If that fan wanted to play right-field using solely his hat, would anyone really doubt him?
