This weekend, Jonathan Holder put himself in the conversation with a simply dazzling pitching performance.
The right-hander took the mound for the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in their game with Rochester on Sunday, tossing four innings of scoreles relief. What Holder did on Sunday was simply astounding, really, when you consider the all-time MLB record for consecutive strikeouts in a game is 10 in a row, a feat Tom Seaver accomplished against the Padres in 1970.
