Model citizen Yu Darvish picked up trash in the middle of his start
It was a windy evening at Globe Life Park in Arlington on Saturday for fans at the game between the Rangers and the A's, so much so that in the top of the second inning, a bag flew onto the field. Fortunately for the grounds crew, the Rangers had a good Samaritan on the mound in ace Yu Darvish.
Some minor refuse wasn't about to disturb Darvish. He got rid of the trash and proceeded to finish the inning unscathed. As Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott proved last November against the Baltimore Ravens, it's easy to focus on the game while taking care of the little things.
It sure seems like environmentalists in Texas should call upon the two star athletes to lead a community service campaign. A slogan of "Yu can recycle, and Dak can too" is a possibility, so there's potential!
