Several thousand Reds fans joined with dozens of Reds Hall of Famers and alumni at Great American Ball Park on Friday, August 27, to celebrate the induction of iconic broadcaster Marty Brennaman into the Reds Hall of Fame.
The 2021 Induction Celebration presented by PNC Bank included the Induction Ceremony presented by Clark Schaefer Hackett and the first-ever Reds Hall of Fame Legends Game, featuring National Baseball Hall of Famers Johnny Bench and Barry Larkin managing teams of Reds greats. Brennaman was the sole inductee in the 2021 class, becoming the first broadcaster to be enshrined. Reds CEO Bob Castellini presented Brennaman with the signature red jacket to cap off the Induction Ceremony.
In the Reds Hall of Fame Legends Game, Team Bench emerged victorious over Team Larkin, with former outfielder Chris Heisey taking home MVP honors from the game.
