There were loud 'Let's Go Oakland' chants at the Tokyo Dome in the A's win over the Nippon-Ham Fighters
Gearing up for their two regular-season games against the Mariners later this week in Japan, the A's suited up and faced the Nippon-Ham Fighters at the Tokyo Dome on Sunday. A host of A's relievers pitched Oakland to a 5-1 win, and the atmosphere was electric, to say a word.
How electric? Well ... as MLB.com's Jane Lee documented from the press box, there were loud "Let's Go Oakland" chants reverberating though the stadium.

Oakland and Tokyo are roughly 5,142 miles apart, but that clearly wasn't enough to keep hardcore A's fans from making a trip out of the team's Japanese excursion ahead of the Opening Series on Wednesday and Thursday
Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
