Adeiny Hechavarria could teach a class on bat flip technique after his latest toss to the heavens

It's been a busy couple of seasons for shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria. He's on his fourth team since 2018, when he played for the Rays, but one thing has remained consistent despite his travels: his bat flip technique.

In Friday's Tigers-Mets game at Citi Field, Hechavarria swatted an opposite-field homer and unleashed a pretty masterful, I've-been-here-before flip:

That's the toss of a guy who knows what he's doing. And that's because he does. Back in 2017, Hechavarria homered as a member of the Rays and uncorked this one ... also at Citi Field:

Nobody can call Hechavarria inconsistent. The man has a style, and he knows it well.
