The birds continued their season-long takeover of AT&T Park on Wednesday

We've already seen it multiple times this season and it doesn't get any less terrifying: BIRDS are slowly taking over AT&T Park. Just look at these seagulls sitting in the bleachers back in April, or this flock circling menacingly around Giants outfielders in May. Well, during San Francisco's 4-2 win over the D-backs on Wednesday, the birds (pigeons, this time) were back and just plopped down right on the field.
Look at them just standing in between the pitcher's mound and home plate. They don't care that you don't want them there. This is their stadium now.

Arizona manager Chip Hale was dumbfounded:
"I was amazed. They didn't move. The ball was put in play and they flew up. It didn't bother the hitters or fielders. It was pretty amazing."
Shelby Miller was just as mystified:
"It was weird having them there. I tried to shoo them away and they kept coming back. They had a little feeding frenzy today. The umpires tried to shoo them away, we all tried. Warming up I was thinking about what to do."
It's only a matter of time, San Franciscans ...
