The Winter Meetings are here, and anything can happen. Yes, the offseason can be filled with a vast array of emotions, but when it comes to the Winter Meetings, held this year in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., all those emotions get packed into just a few days.
So, to prepare, here is a collection of GIFs to show you what emotions you can expect to go through.
Calm

This is just the beginning. Fans have an open mind and positive outlook for the upcoming season. All is well, and there is so much to look forward to. We are ready to see what the Meetings will bring us.
We are just happy baseball is back in our lives.
Wistfulness

Once the initial thoughts have surpassed, reality sets in and fans are reminded of crazy trades from the past. For example, remember that Miguel Cabrera trade? The one where Detroit sent six players to the Marlins for its future star and Dontrelle Willis?
Uncertainty

It can be difficult to follow every move that happens during the Hot Stove, especially this week. A fan could get carried away wondering how it might all turn out.
Confidence

So, your favorite team made a big trade, congratulations! You have a strong addition to the offense, or perhaps the bullpen got bolstered. The internet has officially been blown up, and you feel great about your team's chances.
Nervousness

Don't get too comfortable. This is the time in the offseason where anything can happen. Remember: A trade rumor might seem to have passed, but then return at any moment. The big name(s) the team you root for just landed could be in a completely different city by the time Spring Training rolls around.
Stay humble.
Exhaustion

This is around the time you'll crave your "afternoon coffee." Grab some caffeine and get yourself together, we still have a lot of work to do.
Reinvigoration

You are almost there -- you've made it this far and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The trades are slowing down. The rumors are less and less surprising. You have rounded third and are looking toward home plate.
Elation

You made it! Your team has done well, and you're shopping for a new jersey to sport on Opening Day. This was worth all the stress, wasn't it?
Sadness

So that's it. Winter Meetings have concluded …
Excitement

But there is plenty of offseason left over to make some moves. And at the end of the day, baseball devotees are still very happy because baseball is the best.
