So many Cubs fans showed up outside the team hotel that they could hardly make it to the bus
Cubs fans are everywhere, from Dodger Stadium to the PGA tour. Lest you think that's hyperbole, please note: We do mean everywhere -- up to and including opposing ballparks.
When Joe Maddon and the Cubs walked out of their hotel in Cincinnati to head to Great American Ball Park for their game against the Reds on Saturday, they were greeted by a sea of Cubbie blue.

Even Maddon himself, a man used to throngs of fans, was taken aback.
"We're walking out the hotel and they're lined up like we're getting ready for the playoff game," the manager told MLB.com's Carrie Muskat. "You're looking for the bonfire and the pom poms and the high school band. It was great. It doesn't happen for every team."
Not even the other side of the street was safe:

If history is any guide, we can't wait to see how the Reds will respond.
