Gather 'round and watch Shohei Ohtani throw his first bullpen session as a member of the Angels
Among the names to know heading into the 2018 baseball season, Shohei Ohtani ranks pretty high -- No. 1, actually, according to MLB Pipeline's prospect list a few weeks ago. The 23-year-old Japanese phenom is set to take the game by storm with the Angels this season as a pitcher and as an outfielder.

And on Thursday, it was time for Ohtani to toe the rubber and throw his first bullpen session with his new club. The FOX Sports West cameras were at the ready to document the occasion:

Because it's important to remind you again of Ohtani's dual-threat capabilities on the diamond, here he is looking menacing with a bat in his hand to go along with the pitching photo atop this post:
Get ready for #ShoTime, all spring and summer long.
