Joc Pederson and Clayton Kershaw take opposite sides for the Packers-Cowboys game
In high school, Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson was a standout on the varsity football team -- even leading the Palo Alto Vikings in receptions, touchdowns and yards as a senior.
One of Pederson's teammates on the 2009 Vikings' roster, Davante Adams, plays for the Packers these days -- so, naturally, Joc went to Sunday's big Packers-Cowboys playoff matchup fully decked out in support of his old teammate and friend:
In fact, Pederson attended Sunday's game at AT&T Stadium with current teammate and noted Cowboys fan Clayton Kershaw. The two had a bet in place for the game, too:
Pederson and Kershaw weren't the only Dodgers at the game, by the way -- as Adrian Gonzalez also made an appearance:
After the game, which the Packers won in dramatic fashion, 34-31, Pederson felt pretty good:
Best Football game I have seen in person...Dallas atmosphere was crazy. Glad I could be there #GoPackGo- Joc Pederson (@yungjoc650) January 16, 2017
From his fancy Hawaiian workout routines to big-ticket NFL playoff games, Joc's having himself quite an eventful offseason.
