A little snow didn't stop this eager kid from adorably pretending he was a big leaguer and hitting a homer
Don't get too deceived by the words "Spring Training." While it's nice enough in Florida and Arizona for some baseball, the conditions are still grim up north. On Monday, up to 14 inches of snow hit parts of Rhode Island, making it a little more difficult to feel like baseball is actually just around the corner.
That didn't deter this young man. With some help, he was able to clear out a pitcher's mound and some basepaths in the middle of the snow a few days later so that he could stay caught up on his batting practice ... and his Andrew Benintendi impression:

That's some dedication and extra kudos go to him for really making excellent contact.
It's the kind of performance in the cold that the World Series champion himself would surely approve.
