Alex Rodriguez practiced his swing with a snowball home run derby at Madison Square Park
It's a bit chilly in New York City this weekend, with temperatures hovering around 30 degrees. That's cold enough for snow, of course, but not cold enough to keep Alex Rodriguez from taking his hacks in the middle of Madison Square Park.
As A-Rod shared to his Instagram page Saturday afternoon, there he was, wearing a warm-looking Yankees jacket, crushing snowballs with ease ... and even hitting a walk-off, too.
That sweet swing ... he's still got it.
And isn't there something calming and cathartic that comes with watching snowballs be smashed into bits by a baseball bat?
Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
