Marcus Stroman shadowed Jose Bautista's pregame warmup in right field

One of the more common methods of training a new employee is to have him or her shadow a veteran in the same role. Beyond a theoretical understanding of the job, this method allows the newcomer to see how an experienced practitioner does his or her work.
Prior to Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Cubs, Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman shadowed José Bautista shagging fly balls in right field.

Stroman appears to be a quick study, picking up on Bautista's moves instantaneously.
What remains to be seen is whether this brief apprenticeship portends some appearances in the outfield for Stroman or is merely part of a new cross-training regimen for the Blue Jays' ace.
