Christian Yelich visited Pike Place Fish Market and delivered a highlight catch

(Rob Foldy)

The Marlins are currently on the road for an interleague series against the Mariners and Christian Yelich has spent that time putting his talents on display in his first Major League trip to Seattle.
Monday night, he showed off his offense by accounting for the only Marlins run in a 6-1 loss, with a solo homer in the ninth inning. Tuesday, he showed his defensive chops at the Pike Place Fish Market.

According to testimony from a spectator at the end of this video, Yelich successfully caught the fish on his first attempt. Anyone who's been fishing can attest that fish are generally slippery and that catching one hurled in one's direction would likely be difficult.
It may be that Yelich found immediate success in the fish toss because he catches flying objects as part of his profession. We'd prefer to attribute that success to the fact that, as a Marlin, he is one with the fish.
