Aly Raisman and Julian Edelman sported David Ortiz jerseys at Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final
All eyes were on Boston on Wednesday night as the Bruins hosted the St. Louis Blues in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
While any Game 7 in a sport is usually met with feverish excitement and anticipation for the win-or-go-home stakes in play, Boston's had a rough few days, with the news of Red Sox icon David Ortiz having been shot in the Dominican Republic. He's on the mend, thankfully, currently recovering from surgery at Mass General Hospital, and his presence was felt in a big way at TD Garden.
Longtime Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and three-time Olympic gymnastics champion Aly Raisman were spotted wearing Ortiz No. 34 Red Sox jerseys in the stands as they pumped up the crowd before the game:
