Rougned Odor greeted Felix Hernandez with a fresh splash of water because friendship is fun

For much of the baseball season, friends have to suit up on opposing teams and try to beat each other on a regular basis. Only one team can win a division, after all, and postseason spots can be elusive. Competition can get intense.
Friendship is also intense, albeit in a different way. Félix Hernández and Rougned Odor (who just agreed with the Rangers on a big six-year contract extension) recently spent a couple of weeks together on the Venezuelan team in the World Baseball Classic, but their regular roles are as key participants on two clubs vying for AL West supremacy.
Saturday afternoon's Spring Training game between the Rangers and Mariners at Peoria Stadium had an on-field temperature of roughly 78 degrees. Probably warm enough to warrant some cooling off, right? That's at least what Odor thought when he saw Felix and some other Mariners pitchers heading out to the field before the game, so he helped out as any friend would:

Of course, challenging King Felix like that isn't something done lightly. We've seen Felix spar with his sworn "frenemy" (and Odor's infield teammate) Adrián Beltré time and time again. And, according to MLB.com's Greg Johns, midway through Saturday's game Hernandez informed the media that he had gone into the Rangers' clubhouse to acquire Odor's phone so he could, "get him back," so ... stay tuned!
This is a tale that likely isn't finished.
