Trevor Williams helped provide clean water in Kenya and got a really cool jersey in return
If you've ever been to a live sporting event, you know that custom jerseys are pretty common. People get them for a number of reasons: Maybe they want to realize their dream of suiting up for their favorite team or maybe they just want to make a funny joke, or maybe they hope that the star player named on the back will eventually join their squad.
As you also surely know, some custom jerseys are cooler than others. On Wednesday, Pirates pitcher Trevor Williams received a custom jersey as a thank you for helping provide clean water in Kenya ... and it's probably the best custom jersey ever made:
Earlier this year I traded my Pirates jersey and a few other Pirates jerseys with @gounderdogs to help support them with their mission to provide clean water to parts of Kenya. Yesterday I received my custom jersey from the Kenyans and it's beautiful! pic.twitter.com/Z0Dx4hzY2W- Trevor Williams (@MeLlamoTrevor) December 20, 2018
There needs to be a way for Williams to wear this sweet jersey in a game, whether it's Spring Training, Players' Weekend or a random Tuesday night. Make it happen!
