Soccer? On a baseball diamond?
This sort of thing might sound unfathomable to you, accustomed to watching baseball things happen on a baseball field. But there was one especially slick soccer (or football, if you want to get technical) moment prior to Friday's Tigers-Mariners game at T-Mobile Park, courtesy of Allie Long of the United States Women's National Team and Reign FC.
Exhibiting levels of coordination I can't even begin to comprehend as I knock my glass of water off the table like a clumsy oaf, Long worked some dribbling into her ritual on the mound:

Major style points, Allie. We're not worthy.
Can she kick it? Yes she can. ⚽@USWNT and @ReignFC star @ALLIE_LONG with a first pitch—and footwear—we won't soon forget. pic.twitter.com/58tZ3hzkij

Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
