Let's watch Vin Scully react to a Steven Wright knuckleball with sheer amazement

Vin Scully has lived a lifetime of baseball. Seriously, he's been calling Dodgers games for 67 years now, meaning his broadcast career is now an AARP member. He's seen a lot over that time -- from perfect games to iconic home runs to even a move to L.A. -- and he's got the stories to prove it. But during Boston's 9-0 win over the Dodgers on Friday, Scully encountered something that not even he had ever seen. Something baseball's bard couldn't put into words: Steven Wright's knuckleball.

It's OK, Vin, the laws of science hasn't been able to make sense of that thing either.
